Ball Arena Accessibility

Ball Arena is a five-level building with 89 suites across two of them, 1,900 club seats and exactly two Theatre Boxes. For hockey the rink sits lower than the basketball floor, so the 100 level looks down into the boards rather than across them. The club product here is the Select Health Club Level, which carries the Forget Me Not Lounge and Colorado Social — the courtside membership products the Nuggets sell into rows CS through CS3 are basketball-only and do not apply to Avalanche games.

Tips & Fan Reports

Anywhere in the 300s is really chill and the views are great. You can not go wrong at Ball Arena. It is a great arena with a great team.

Avs300sFan

The courtside memberships you will read about at Ball Arena — UMB Reserve, Club Lexus, the Ford Champions Club — are Nuggets products sold into rows CS to CS3. They do not apply to Avalanche games.

VYT Research

For hockey, the 200 level shows you more of the game than the glass does, at a fraction of the price.

VYT Research

The Select Health Club Level carries the Forget Me Not Lounge and Colorado Social, and is the building's main premium tier at 1,900 seats.

VYT Research

There are two Theatre Boxes in the whole arena, so ask early if you want one.

Where to Sit

Every tier in the building, what it costs, and what you give up to sit there.

Glass Seats

$280 - $900+

Pros

  • The players are physically at your eye line, which no other seat here offers
  • Contact on the near boards lands directly in front of you

Cons

  • The most expensive Avalanche ticket
  • You see less of the game than from anywhere else — the near boards and the glass hide the far end

Lower Level Center (100-Level)

$170 - $400

Pros

  • The best all-round hockey sightline in the building
  • Centre ice, so neither end is favoured

Cons

  • Play tight to the near boards is hidden below you

Lower Level Corners (100-Level)

$110 - $280

Pros

  • Lower-bowl proximity for well under centre-ice pricing
  • The best angle on a power play working the near zone

Cons

  • The Avalanche attack the near end twice in three periods
  • Corner positions foreshorten the far half of the ice

Select Health Club Level (200-Level)

$85 - $250

The middle ring, elevated over the lower bowl with the whole sheet in one frame.

Pros

  • Exclusive access to the Forget Me Not Lounge and Colorado Social
  • For hockey, this height is where the systems become visible
  • One of 1,900 club seats, so it is the building's main premium tier rather than a boutique one

Cons

  • A level removed from the sound of the boards
  • The lounges are much of what the price buys

Theatre Boxes

$400 - $1,200+

Most expensive tier

Two boxes only, seating four or six, set apart from the ordinary rows.

Pros

  • Plush seating for a fixed party of four or six
  • Additional standing-room tickets can be bought alongside
  • Covers regular season and playoff games

Cons

  • There are exactly two in the entire building
  • Sold as a season product rather than a single game

Upper Level (300-Level)

$35 - $110

Cheapest tier

The top ring, high over the ice with the whole rink and both benches below.

Pros

  • The cheapest Avalanche ticket
  • The clearest view of a breakout and a forecheck developing

Cons

  • Steep, and a long way up

Colorado Avalanche Seat Comfort

Padded seat cushions and compact binoculars for the upper deck.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
