Rams fans planning a tailgate at SoFi need to buy the right thing first: tailgating is permitted only for ticketed guests with a tailgating pass, in designated lots laid out as 9 by 18 foot spaces, and for select events only within the Hyundai Pink zone. Everything else about the policy is unusually restrictive for a stadium this size. No cooking station of any kind is allowed — charcoal, wood stoves, oil fryers and open-pit fires are named and prohibited — nothing may sit on the ground around a car outside the designated zone, and electrical cords may not cross a drive aisle. Come early: after the one-hour mark the stadium may move you to a lot where none of it is permitted anyway.

Pink lot is the only location to tailgate at SoFi. The Rams booster clubs usually set up on the east side closest to Target. It fills up fast on big games.
Do not plan to cook. Charcoal grills, wood stoves, oil fryers and open-pit fires are all prohibited — this is a bring-it-ready tailgate rather than a cooking one.
You need a tailgating pass, not just a parking pass. Without one there is nowhere at SoFi you may set up, and nothing may go on the ground around the car.
There is no in-and-out, so whatever you need has to arrive with you the first time.
Arrive more than an hour before kickoff. Later than that and the stadium may move you to a non-tailgating lot regardless of your pass.

Rules to Know
What SoFi Stadium allows, and what it does not.

- Tailgating is permitted in the Hyundai Pink parking zone for select events, and designated tailgating lots have 9ft by 18ft parking spaces.
- Charcoal grills, wood stoves, oil fryers, open-pit fires and other cooking stations are prohibited.
- Electrical cords may not be placed across parking areas or drive aisles, or anywhere they would create a hazard for guests.
- All tailgate activities must cease by kickoff, within the time period designated by SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.
- Guests arriving later than one hour before the posted kickoff time may be relocated to a non-tailgating lot.
- Access to tailgating areas is first come, first served. There are no in-and-out privileges, and saving parking spaces for other guests is prohibited.
- No coolers, tents, tables, chairs or similar items may be placed on the ground behind, in front of or around parked vehicles except within the designated tailgating zone.
- Portable public address systems are not permitted, and amplified sound systems may not be used at excessive volume.
