Parking facilities immediately around Soldier Field require a prepaid pass, and Museum Campus lots do not offer single-game cash parking.

Park at McCormick Place and walk from there - about 20 minutes to Soldier Field. You avoid the lakefront parking chaos and it's easy to get out after the game.
When there's a Soldier Field event, the city limits street parking two hours before and one hour after. Some local spots will bus you to and from the game free with parking - only way I do Bears games.

Accessible parking still requires a prepaid coupon; Lot B has a free accessible shuttle for guests without one.
The #128 Soldier Field Express connects Ogilvie and Union train stations to the stadium.
Pace express buses return 30 minutes after the final whistle from the same place they dropped you, and parking at the departure points is free.
The #128 Soldier Field Express runs on Bears game days only; the #146 runs year round.
After the game, buses board on the west side of the Transportation Center, the East Museum Lot, at McFetridge and Special Olympics Drive, just northeast of the stadium.
Every rail route ends at Roosevelt Station: Red, Orange and Green Lines all stop there. Plan the last mile as a bus transfer or a walk, not a train.

Parking Rules
What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.
Your Pass
- Parking immediately around the stadium requires a pre-paid pass, and those lots open four hours before kickoff.
- Lots close three hours after day games, and immediately following night games. Tailgating ends two hours after the game.
- Overnight parking is prohibited.
- Each lot is worked by coupon colour: North Garage is orange or blue, Waldron Deck white, South Lot red, East Museum yellow, Adler Planetarium purple, and the family-friendly alcohol-free lot off-white with black stripes.
- The Burnham Harbor lot is only available from November onward.
- Shuttles from 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B start two hours before kickoff and run until two hours after the game. The Millennium garages have no shuttle.
Not Allowed In
- Any vehicle that does not fit inside the lines of one regular space (bus, camper or otherwise) cannot use the standard lots and must reserve the Adler Lot or use 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B.
- Buses, taxis and limousines may not enter the Soldier Field campus from 90 minutes after kickoff until one hour after the game ends.
- Overnight parking is not permitted in any lot.
Accessible Parking
Every lot is ADA compliant, but a pre-paid coupon is still required to enter one. Without a coupon, park at 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B and take the free accessible shuttle.

- A pre-paid parking coupon is required to park in the lots, accessible spaces included.
- Guests without a pre-paid coupon can use 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B, which has free ADA-accessible shuttles.

RV Parking
Campers and any vehicle too large for a single space are reserved into the Adler Planetarium lot through SoldierFieldParking.com, or park at 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B when space allows.
- An oversized vehicle is any that does not fit inside the lines of one designated regular space.
- Oversized spaces are reserved at the Adler Lot via SoldierFieldParking.com.
- RVs can also park at 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B when available.
- Overnight parking is prohibited, so an RV cannot stay after the game.
Bus & Limo Parking
Buses reserve oversized spaces at the Adler Lot or use 31st Street Lot B, and there is a window either side of the final whistle when no bus, taxi or limousine may enter the campus at all.

Getting There
Soldier Field sits on Chicago's lakefront Museum Campus with no rail station of its own, so every train approach ends at Roosevelt Station and finishes by bus or on foot. That one transfer is the whole trick: three CTA lines converge there, a game-day-only express bus runs from it, and the walk east through Museum Campus is a real option rather than a fallback. Driving means Lake Shore Drive and the 18th Street exit, which backs up badly on game days.
- Driving
- From the north: Lake Shore Drive south to the 18th Street exit, then follow signs to Soldier Field. From the south: I-55 to Lake Shore Drive north, exit at 18th Street. From the west: I-290 east to I-90/94, then exit at 18th Street. Lake Shore Drive backs up two to three hours before kickoff, and 45 to 60 minutes from the suburbs is realistic on a game day.
- Public Transit
- The CTA Red, Orange and Green Lines all stop at Roosevelt Station, between State Street and Wabash Avenue. That is the interchange every rail approach uses. From there, transfer to the #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express bus, or walk east on Roosevelt Road through Museum Campus. On Bears game days only, the #128 Soldier Field Express also runs. Pace runs express buses for Bears home games with free parking at the departure points, returning 30 minutes after the final whistle from the same spot they drop you.
- Rideshare
- Rideshare cars and taxis drop off and pick up only at Balbo Drive and Columbus Drive, north of Soldier Field.
- Walking
- About a mile east from Roosevelt Station along Roosevelt Road and through Museum Campus, roughly 20 minutes on foot.
