There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at Toyota Center, the arena is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Rockets fans gather at 8th Wonder Brewery and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. Tailgating Protocol
No grills, coolers, or tailgating setups are permitted in parking garages or structures near Toyota Center.
Outside alcohol is not allowed in public plazas or the arena grounds.
The arena's clear bag policy applies at all entry gates.
No re-entry. Once you leave Toyota Center, you cannot return.

8th Wonder Brewery
Local brewery in EaDo, a 10-minute walk from the arena. The unofficial Rockets pregame spot with outdoor patio, food trucks, and live music on game nights.
Discovery Green Park
12-acre urban park adjacent to the arena. A beautiful green space for a pregame walk, especially on cooler evenings.
EaDo Bar District
East Downtown has become Houston's hottest nightlife and dining neighborhood. Multiple bars and restaurants within walking distance of Toyota Center.
