New Orleans is arguably the best food city in America, and Smoothie King Center does a respectable job reflecting that. The arena publishes its stands by section, and the New Orleans cooking is spread across them: BBB's Cajun Corner at sections 101, 112 and 313, Crescent City Cuisine at 119, Basin Street Tacos at 113, Dixie BBQ at 317 and Geaux Mac at 325, with a Daiquiri Bar at 114 and 301 and a local Beer Garden at 106. The directory lists what each stand serves rather than a full menu, so expect more at the counter than is published. Outside, the Warehouse District and French Quarter offer some of the best dining in the world within walking distance.

Tips & Fan Reports

If you do eat inside, the gumbo and po'boys are the best arena food in the NBA.

VYT Research

Abita Amber and NOLA Brewing are the local beers. Try them over domestics.

VYT Research

The Hurricane cocktail inside the arena is a fun novelty but Pat O'Brien's in the Quarter makes the real thing.

VYT Research

Café Du Monde is 20 minutes by foot. Get beignets before or after the game.

VYT Research

Eat at a REAL New Orleans restaurant before the game. Don't waste your appetite on arena food.

VYT Research

Mother's po'boys on Poydras are a 10-minute walk from the arena, worth the detour.

How We Checked This Page

Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

Food prices

Smoothie King Center 2026: hot dogs $6.50, beer at 75 cents per ounce

Compared against a maintained reference table and corrected where it disagreed

Concession menu

Smoothie King Center's concessions directory, which publishes each stand with its section numbers, a one-line descriptor and a set of cuisine filters. It lists no per-item menus and no prices, so the stands and locations here are exact while the items are the venue's own descriptor and cuisine wording rather than a menu board.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
