There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at FedExForum, the arena is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Grizzlies fans gather at Beale Street and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. The energy builds as game time approaches, with fans filling the streets and plazas near the arena. Check the team's website for recommended pregame spots and any official fan events.
The Essentials
- Clear bag (per venue bag policy)
- Phone charger or portable battery
- Comfortable shoes
- Cash and cards for vendors
- Valid ID
- Small binoculars
- Noise-canceling earplugs
- Team gear or colors to wear

Tailgating Protocol
No grills, coolers, or tailgating setups are permitted in parking garages or structures near FedExForum.
Outside alcohol is not allowed in public plazas or the arena grounds.
The arena's clear bag policy applies at all entry gates.
No re-entry. Once you leave FedExForum, you cannot return.
Follow all posted rules in parking garages; they are for vehicle parking only.
Strategic Zones
Beale Street
The most famous blues street in the world, and it's literally steps from the arena. Live music, BBQ, and bars from 2 PM until 3 AM.
FedExForum Plaza
The outdoor plaza on the south side of the arena at the Beale Street entrance. Fan activities and vendors on game nights.
South Main Arts District
Memphis's arts and boutique district a few blocks south of the arena. Quieter pregame option with coffee shops, galleries, and restaurants.
