Take the RTA rail rapid or bus to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. It drops you off close and you skip all the downtown parking headaches. Easy and cheap.
On dates when the arena and Progressive Field both host events, Great Day Improvements requires an advance pass.
RTA park-and-ride offers more than 7,000 free station parking spaces, with arena access through Tower City's walkway.
It opens four hours before Cavaliers games, an hour earlier than for other events.

Your Pass
- The Great Day Improvements Garage, formerly Gateway East, opens three hours before the event for pass holders.
- When Rocket Arena and Progressive Field both have events, the Great Day Improvements Garage accepts only passes bought in advance.
- Event parking prices populate automatically and vary by event.
- Vision licence-plate readers bill automatically on exit; pre-paid passes are available through SeatGeek for select events.
- The Great Day and JACK Cleveland Casino garages hold 3,300 cars between them, with passenger elevators and a bridge to the venue from Garage Level 3.
- The JACK Cleveland Casino North Garage is at 2047 Ontario Street and the South Garage at 2151 Ontario Street.
- LAZ Parking runs a number of other downtown garages and lots, and ParkWhiz sells them online.

- The Great Day Improvements Garage has a 7ft 6in vehicle clearance, tow trucks included.
- Sprinter vans must park on Level 1, street level, in a Platinum spot, and may be at most 7 feet wide and 19 feet long.

Getting There
Rocket Arena's best feature for a visitor is a 1,050-foot enclosed bridge: RTA's Walkway links Tower City Center to the arena, so a fan arriving by rail or bus at Public Square never goes outside. It opens three hours before events, four before Cavaliers games, and stays open about three hours afterwards.
- Driving
- The arena is at 1 Center Court in downtown Cleveland, on the corner of Ontario Street and Huron Road. It publishes no freeway route or exit of its own, pointing drivers to the Downtown Cleveland parking and transit site.
- Public Transit
- RTA runs bus and rapid transit services to the arena from all parts of Cuyahoga County, with more than 7,000 free parking spaces across its rail stations for park-and-ride. Riders arriving at Public Square reach the arena through RTA's Walkway from Tower City Center. Route and schedule details come from the RTAnswerline on 216-621-9500.
- Walking
- RTA's Walkway is a 1,050-foot enclosed bridge connecting Tower City Center to the arena, sheltered from weather and traffic. It opens three hours before events, four hours before Cavaliers games, and closes about three hours after the end.
