There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at Rogers Arena, the arena is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Canucks fans gather at Yaletown Bars and Restaurants and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. The energy builds as game time approaches, with fans filling the streets and plazas near the arena. Check the team's website for recommended pregame spots and any official fan events.
