Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear freezer bag is permitted, plus a small hand-sized clutch.
Medically necessary items are inspected at the East Gate. Diapers and wipes must be carried in an approved clear bag.
- Bag storage
Non-compliant bags may be checked for $15 or $20 at Guest Experience Bag Check locations by the east and southwest pedestrian crosswalks of the inner parking lots.
Locations and availability can change by event, and lockers are also located outside the stadium. Guests may instead return the item to their vehicle.
- Gate opening
Hard Rock Stadium gates open two hours before Dolphins kickoff; parking gates open four hours before kickoff.
- Mobile tickets
Dolphins tickets are digital and available through the Miami Dolphins app; screenshots are not accepted.

Dolphins tickets grant one-time entry to Hard Rock Stadium with no right of re-entry after exit.
- Prohibited items
Hard Rock Stadium prohibits weapons, outside alcohol, cigarettes and vaping devices, oversized bags, hard containers, professional recording equipment, umbrellas, strollers, laser pointers, fireworks, and other listed items.

- First aid
First Aid locations are near Sections 104, 218, and 346, subject to event changes.

- Nursing and lactation
A private, air-conditioned Nursing Room near Section 153 has seating, a television, changing table, and vanity sink.
The room is staffed and available first-come, first-served; guests may also breastfeed wherever they feel comfortable.
- Family restrooms
Single-occupancy family restrooms with changing tables are located near Sections 102, 106, 130, 134, 201, 207, 229, 235, 314, 323, 342, and 351.
- Tickets for children
Children under age two and no taller than 34 inches may enter free if they share a seat with an accompanying ticketed adult.
All other guests need a ticket.

Expect 30-45 minutes to exit the lots. Traffic clears faster than most NFL stadiums thanks to multiple highway access points.

Orange lot is where most tailgating happens. Yellow can get you out faster. If you have an orange or better pass and park inside the stadium gates you get an area where you can set up.
There are no sit down restaurants or bars inside or outside the stadium. It is all counter service with communal seating areas and grab-and-go food. Plan your meals around that.

Bring a rain poncho. September through November afternoon thunderstorms pop up fast in South Florida. They pass quickly but they are intense.
Bring water and foil for the coals. The stadium specifies extinguishing with water, then wrapping cooled briquettes in foil for the bin. Dumping them is explicitly banned.
Your tailgate is the painted 8 by 10 rectangle behind the car, so measure the gear against that rather than the width of the bay.

Hard Rock Stadium paints the tailgate on the ground: an 8 by 10 foot space is outlined directly behind each vehicle and that is your area, one space per vehicle. Gas and charcoal grills are both fine, unusually permissive, but open fires such as bonfires and pit fires are prohibited, and coals must be extinguished with water promptly, cooled, wrapped in foil and put in a bin rather than tipped on the ground. Lots open four hours before kickoff and close ninety minutes after the event. Parking is prepaid: a pass has to be bought in advance and day-of parking is not guaranteed. - Prepaid parking is required. A parking pass must be purchased in advance, and day-of parking is not guaranteed.
- During the first hour of Miami Dolphins games, fans with orange parking passes may park where they wish within the areas their pass is valid for. After the first hour, directed parking begins.
- Occupy only one parking space per vehicle.
- Tailgate directly behind your vehicle, using the designated 8' x 10' space outlined on the ground.
- Gas and charcoal barbeque grills are permitted. Open fires such as bonfires and pit fires are prohibited in the parking lots.
- Hot coals and flames must be extinguished with water promptly after use. Charcoal briquettes must not be disposed of on the ground. Once fully cooled, wrap them in aluminium foil and deposit them in a trash bin.
- Music must be played at reasonable volume and must not contain explicit lyrics. No professional DJ setups are permitted in the parking lots.
- Commercial catering services are prohibited from operating on stadium grounds.
