There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at Paycom Center, the arena is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Thunder fans gather at Bricktown Entertainment District and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. The energy builds as game time approaches, with fans filling the streets and plazas near the arena. Check the team's website for recommended pregame spots and any official fan events.

Tailgating Protocol

No grills, coolers, or tailgating setups are permitted in parking garages or structures near Paycom Center.

Outside alcohol is not allowed in public plazas or the arena grounds.

No re-entry. Once you leave Paycom Center, you cannot return.

Strategic Zones

Bricktown Entertainment District

The canal-side entertainment district a few blocks from the arena with restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. This is OKC's pregame hub, the canal walk to the arena is part of the experience.

Thunder Alley (Reno Avenue)

The arena's main entrance plaza on Reno Avenue transforms into a pregame gathering area on game nights with music, Thunder dancers, and fan activities.

Film Row / Midtown

The emerging Film Row district west of the arena has craft cocktail bars, breweries, and eclectic restaurants. A trendier alternative to Bricktown for pregame dining.

Treat Bricktown Entertainment District as your pregame headquarters. Arrive 1–2 hours early to soak in the atmosphere.
