Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Bags must be 12 x 12 x 6 inches or smaller and do not need to be clear; diaper and medical bags are permitted after screening and tagging.
Backpacks, oversized totes or purses, duffels, luggage, camera bags, laptop bags, and oversized drawstring bags are prohibited. All bags are screened at entry.
- Bag storage
$10 Binbox lockers are outside the Main East entrance near Lots 3 and 4 and the Michelob Ultra Club entrance near Freeman Coliseum or Lot 2.
- Gate opening
Doors open one hour before most events, but Spurs game times may vary; confirm on the event listing or call Fan Experience at 210-444-5140.
- Mobile tickets
Spurs tickets can be managed and displayed for smartphone entry through the Spurs app or Spurs Account Manager.
Ticketmaster.com and the Ticketmaster app are the official purchase channels. Download the mobile ticket before arriving for the smoothest entry.
- Re-entry
Re-entry is not permitted after a guest leaves Frost Bank Center.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include backpacks and oversized bags, weapons and replicas, explosives, ammunition, knives and tools, outside food and containers, cameras with detachable or long lenses, recording devices, laptops and tablets, drones, lasers, pepper spray, noisemakers, poles, selfie sticks, and vape devices.
The list is not exhaustive and can change by event. Security screening and bag inspection apply at every entrance.
- First aid
First Aid stations are across from Section 119 on the Plaza Level and Section 222 on the Balcony Level.
For an emergency, notify the nearest arena representative or uniformed sheriff's officer.
- Nursing and lactation
A private Wellness Room for nursing and lactation is in the Southwest VIP Lobby near Section 110.
Ask a nearby team member for access during the event.
- Family restrooms
Private restrooms are available on every level for guests who need assistance from a companion or family member.
- Tickets for children
Guests age 24 months or older need a valid ticket; event-specific age rules can differ.
Review the game listing before purchase for any exception.
- Guest services
Guest Services is near Section 101 on the Plaza Level and Section 206 on the Balcony Level.
For in-seat assistance during an event, text CARE and the location and request to 69050. Fan Experience is available at 210-444-5140 during weekday business hours.
- Service animals
Trained service animals are welcome and must remain leashed or harnessed; a relief area with waste bags is near the Michelob Ultra Club entrance.
Notify the venue when buying if seating accommodation is needed for a service animal.
- Smoking and vaping
Frost Bank Center prohibits all smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and pipes, with no designated indoor smoking area.
The smoke-free perimeter extends 500 feet beyond the building.

Visit the Riverwalk or Pearl District
If you're visiting SA, spend the afternoon on the Riverwalk or at the Pearl District for dining and shopping.
Head to the arena
Drive or rideshare from downtown. Arrive early to get a good parking spot in the main lot.
Doors open
Enter the arena. The Spurs have championship banners, retired jerseys, and memorabilia throughout the concourse.
Find your seat
Settle in. The coyote mascot's performances are legendary.
Game time
Spurs fans are knowledgeable and respectful, you'll hear real basketball analysis in the stands. Total game time is about 2-2.5 hours.
Halftime break
Try the puffy tacos, a San Antonio original. The churros are also excellent.
Post-game scene
Head back to downtown for the Riverwalk or Pearl District nightlife. The arena area itself is quiet post-game.
Tips & Fan Reports
Don't try to bring any sort of bag in. They scrutinize bags and might send you back to your car. Just pocket everything you need - phone, wallet, keys. There is no nightlife around the arena so plan accordingly.
Frost Bank Center is NOT downtown - it's on the east side. Budget 20-30 min from River Walk area hotels.
Puffy tacos are a San Antonio invention. Try them at the arena.
The Coyote (Spurs mascot) is one of the best in the NBA, his antics are worth watching.
VIA bus runs game-day express routes from downtown - check the schedule to avoid needing a car.
San Antonio is consistently one of the cheapest NBA cities for total game-day cost.
The arena is on the east side, not downtown. Plan for a 15-minute drive from the Riverwalk.
Binbox lockers outside the entrances take an oversized bag for $10.

The approach via Houston Street or Commerce Street
From west San Antonio the route runs I-35 north to I-10 east, exit New Braunfels, left on New Braunfels Avenue and right on Houston Street. From the northwest it is I-10 east to I-37 north, exit Commerce, right on Commerce Street and left on Coca-Cola Place.
