### Parking tips

- Buffalo parking is genuinely cheap, $10-20 for arena lots is a steal by NHL standards.
- The Metro Rail is free downtown. If your hotel is on the rail line, there's no reason to drive.
- Lake-effect snow can hit suddenly, covered parking in the Canalside Ramp is worth the walk.
- Post-game traffic clears quickly. Buffalo doesn't have big-city congestion.

## Seating

KeyBank Center numbers by Aisle, not Section — the arena guide places Guest Services on the "100 Level (between Aisles 7 and 8)" and "300 Level (between Aisles 13 and 14)", and the Top Dog stands "on the 100 Level near Aisle 20 or the 300 Level near Aisle 2". Your ticket says Aisle, which catches out anyone arriving from an arena that says Section. Everything hangs off the Pavilion, the street-level concourse holding the ticket windows, Account Services and the Sabres Store in its west end. Escalators at each end of the Pavilion carry you to the 100 Level, its food courts, the Labatt Blue Zone and the 1970 Club; from there express escalators run straight to the 300 Level, skipping 200 entirely, because the 200 Level is the KeyBank Club and at Sabres games it is closed to everyone but Suiteholders and 200 Club Seat holders. The building is cashless throughout.

## Getting There

KeyBank Center publishes two route options from every direction, and both from each end on Perry Street with parking just past Michigan. The transit fact worth knowing is that NFTA's Metro Rail runs through the middle of downtown Buffalo and is free above ground — one of only a handful of venues in this data reachable at no fare.

**Driving.** The arena is at One Seymour H. Knox III Plaza. From the north on I-190 south, take Exit 5 for Louisiana Street, turn left at the bottom and then onto Perry Street at the first light or South Park Avenue at the second — the arena is straight ahead, with parking just past Michigan. Or take Exit 6 for Elm Street, bear left to the ramp, right onto Seneca Street, right onto Michigan Street over the bridge, then right onto Perry Street. From the south, east or west, take I-90, the Thruway, to Exit 53 for I-190 north, then either Exit 5 for Hamburg Street, right onto Hamburg and right onto Perry at the first light, or Exit 6 for Elm Street and the same Seneca-Michigan-Perry route.

**Public transit.** NFTA's Metro Rail Rapid Transit System runs through the centre of downtown Buffalo and is free above ground; charges apply below ground, and the operator publishes where. The arena names no individual station or stop, so check nfta.com for that leg.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Main Street near the arena entrance. Post-game pickup is on Perry Street. Minimal surge pricing in Buffalo, rides are affordable.
