### Parking tips

- Take the T. Seriously. North Station is inside the arena, there's no closer transit stop in the NHL.
- If driving, pre-book via SpotHero or ParkWhiz. Walk-up rates are brutal and spots sell out for rivalry nights.
- The TD Garden Garage exit onto Causeway is painfully slow after games. Budget 20-30 minutes.
- Rideshare pickup is on Legends Way. Expect surge pricing and a 10-15 minute wait after games.
- Street parking in the West End is metered until 8 PM. Check signs carefully, Boston's parking enforcement is relentless.


## Seating

TD Garden names its levels Loge, Club, Balcony and Rafters rather than 100/200/300, and for hockey that scheme matters more than it does for basketball: the Loge on Level 4 rings the ice at sections 1-21, the Club takes the ten centre sections on Levels 5 and 6, the Balcony on Level 7 runs 301-330, and the Rafters sits on Level 9. The recent renovation added 15,000 square feet of concourse across the Loge and Balcony and put a Back Row Bar on Level 8 behind the last balcony row.

## Getting There

TD Garden is built on top of North Station, so the commuter rail and the arena are the same address — from anywhere north of Boston you get off the train and you are there. For every other line the arena publishes the transfer: which station to change at, which direction, and how many stops it is. Driving all funnels to Exit 26 and Nashua Street.

**Driving.** From the north, I-93S to Exit 26 for Leverett Circle/Cambridge, follow signs to North Station, right onto Nashua Street then left at Lomasney Way. From eastern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts, I-95S to Route 1S over the Tobin Bridge, follow Storrow Drive/Cambridge signs and stay right for the Nashua Street exit. From the south, I-95N to I-93N and the 93N tunnel, Exit 26 for Storrow Drive, stay left for North Station and right onto Nashua Street. From the west, the Mass Pike east to I-93N and the same Exit 26. From Back Bay, left onto Berkeley Street, right onto Storrow Drive East, right onto Martha Road/Nashua Street and left onto Causeway Street. From Logan, follow Sumner Tunnel signs toward Boston and stay right for the Storrow Drive/Cambridge ramp. The arena is at 100 Legends Way.

**Public transit.** The MBTA Commuter Rail from points north runs directly into North Station, which is the same location as the arena. From the south, west and east, the Old Colony and Fairmont lines require changing at South Station; all other southside lines go to Back Bay, then the Orange Line direct to North Station. On the subway, the Green and Orange Lines both stop at North Station — enter at the East or West entrance. From the Red Line, change at Park Street to the Green Line eastbound, three stops. From the Blue Line, change at Government Center to the Green Line eastbound, two stops. From Logan Airport, the Blue Line inbound four stops to Government Center, then the Green Line eastbound two stops.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Causeway Street near the main entrance. Post-game pickup is on Legends Way. Expect 10-15 minute surge waits after games. Walk toward Haymarket for faster pickup and lower surge.

**Walking.** A newer MBTA passageway links North Station's commuter rail platforms to the subway station beneath Causeway Street, so the change between them no longer means going outside.

## Tailgating

There is no tailgating question at TD Garden because there is nowhere to hold one — the arena has no surface lots and publishes no tailgating policy. Everything sits vertically instead: North Station is on the ground floor beneath the building with the MBTA Orange and Green Lines and the Commuter Rail, and the North Station Garage is directly under that, entered from Nashua Street or Causeway Street at a flat  event rate with a 6 foot 8 inch height cap. Two rules shape the hour before a Bruins game more than any other: general doors open just one hour before puck drop, and the bag limit is 6 by 4 by 1.5 inches, with anything larger costing  to check on Level 1 in North Station.

### Rules

- TD Garden publishes no tailgating policy, and has no surface parking lots of its own — parking is the North Station Garage directly beneath the building.
- For Bruins and Celtics games, member doors open two hours prior to game time and general doors open one hour prior.
- The North Station Garage charges a flat event rate of $65 when entering two and a half hours before the scheduled event time, with an early bird rate of $30 entering before 9:00am and exiting before 6:00pm.
- Maximum vehicle height for the North Station Garage is 6 feet 8 inches.
- Only small bags, clutches, crossbodies and wristlets are permitted, and they must not exceed 6in x 4in x 1.5in. Non-compliant bags can be checked at Event Bag Check on Level 1 in North Station for $15.
- TD Garden maintains a strict no re-entry policy: guests who have entered with a valid ticket may not leave and re-enter during the event.
- Valid ID is required for alcohol, and no more than two alcoholic beverages will be served to a patron at one time.

TD Garden leans hard into Boston's food identity, and its published stand directory shows where Boston actually turns up: New England clam chowder, fish and chips and coconut shrimp at Boston Common on Level 4, Kayem hot dogs and Italian sausage at Hub Hot Dog, Sal's Pizza by the slice, a corned beef Rueben at the Causeway Carvery, and Sam Adams pouring at its own Brewhouse. A Garden Grill on Level 4 is built for allergen-friendly eating. The arena publishes no item prices, only a $5 Value Menu of select items at Hub Hot Dog. The surrounding North End offers some of the best pregame dining in the NHL.

## Game Day Timeline

TD Garden sits atop North Station in downtown Boston, surrounded by the pubs of the West End and the Italian restaurants of the North End. The Bruins pregame scene is the bars along Canal and Causeway streets, no parking lot tailgating, just packed sports bars full of black-and-gold jerseys. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early. The arena runs cold near the ice, which adds to the hockey atmosphere. Games run about 2.5 hours in regulation, longer if overtime or a shootout pushes it past midnight.
