UCSF Mission Bay visitor garages charge $5 per hour up to $35 per day. A Chase Center event ticket includes all-day Muni service except cable cars, making transit the lowest-cost option. | Lot | Price | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Chase Center Garage | $75 | At the arena | Official event parking at 99 Warriors Way. Use the CCG or WWG code printed on a prepaid pass to choose the correct approach lane. | | UCSF Mission Bay Garages | $35 | 0.3-0.6 miles | UCSF patient and visitor garages at 1650 Third Street, 1625 Owens Street, 590 Illinois Street, and nearby Mission Bay facilities. | ### Getting here without a car Not parking. These are transit fares, walks and drop-off points. | Option | Cost | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Muni with Chase Center event ticket | $0 | 0.2 miles from stop | The event ticket is proof of payment for all-day Muni bus and light-rail service, excluding cable cars. | ### Parking tips - Parking is scarce and pricey, Muni T-Third is genuinely the best option for Chase Center. - The game-day ferry from Oakland/Alameda docks right at the arena. Great for East Bay fans. - Rideshare drop-off is on the south side of the arena. Post-game pickup can take 15+ minutes. - If driving, approach from the south via Mariposa or 16th Street to avoid UCSF hospital traffic. - Bike parking is available, many SF locals ride to games on the Embarcadero bike path. ## Seating Chase Center has only two seating rings — the 100s and the 200s — so 'upper level' here is the second deck, not the fourth. What the building has instead of height is layers of club access: the venue's own concourses are Main, Upper, Event, Club, Suite and Lodge, and four separate clubs (United, Ultra, JP Morgan and Chase) attach to different tickets. Almost every premium product includes VIP parking, which in Mission Bay is worth more than it sounds. | Section | Price range | View | Pros | Cons | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Courtside / Floor Seats | $1,500 - $5,000+ | Floor level at the edge of the court, level with the players. | As close to the Warriors as the building allows; Level with the benches and the coaching | Floor level flattens the spacing that makes this team worth watching | | Courtside Lounges | $3,000 - $10,000+ | Twelve bowl seats at courtside with a private lounge behind them. | Accommodates sixteen people — twelve in the bowl, the rest in the lounge; A curated dining experience with a private butler; Two VIP parking passes | Sold as a group hospitality product, not a pair of seats; The top of the building's price range by a wide margin | | Acrisure Theater Boxes | $800 - $2,500+ | Plush balcony-style boxes looking down over the floor, four to a box. | Four people per box with a private dining experience; A dedicated attendant and a VIP parking pass; Balcony seating rather than a row in the bowl | Fixed at four people, so it suits a specific party size and no other; Elevated and set back from the floor | | Club Level (100-Level Sideline) | $200 - $500 | | The best ordinary sightline in the arena; Carries club access — United, Ultra, JP Morgan or Chase depending on the ticket | The dearest non-hospitality seat; Which club your ticket opens varies, so check before assuming | | Lower Bowl Baseline (100-Level) | $120 - $300 | | The truest angle on a three-point shot, which at this arena is the point | The far basket is a long way off; The near hoop stands in the way | | Upper Baseline (200-Level) | $80 - $200 | The second ring behind the baskets, high enough to see the whole floor. | With only two rings, the 200s here are much closer than a third-deck seat elsewhere; The full-court view for baseline money | Behind the basket, so the near-end play is foreshortened | | Upper Level (200-Level) | $60 - $160 | The second ring along the sides, looking across the court from above. | Chase Center has only two levels, so this is not a distant third deck | Still the top of the building; No club access, no in-seat service | Official seat map: https://chasecenter.com/plan-your-visit/transportation/venue-maps/ ## Getting There Chase Center calls itself a transit-first destination and backs it with the fare: your event ticket is an all-day Muni pass. Five modes reach it — Muni, BART, Caltrain, ferry and a dedicated shuttle — and the arena adds extra S trains and a BART connector bus on event days rather than leaving the network as it is. **Driving.** The arena is at 1 Warriors Way, with lots at and around Chase Center. The page leads with transit rather than a route, and the club actively discourages driving. **Public transit.** Your Chase Center event ticket is also your all-day complimentary Muni ticket. The T metro line serves the arena, with additional S trains running on event days, and the 78X bus runs between Chase Center and 16th St Mission BART station from 2.5 hours before until an hour after events. On BART, the nearest stations are Powell St and 16th St Mission — transfer to the Muni T or the 78X. On Caltrain, transfer to Muni at San Francisco Station or walk 20 minutes to the arena. SF Bay Ferry runs event service to Pier 48, and the Mission Bay Shuttle also serves the arena. **Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off and pickup zones are on the south side of the arena (Warriors Way). Expect 10-15 minute wait for pickup after games. Walk a block away from the arena for faster pickup. **Walking.** From Caltrain's San Francisco Station it is about a 20 minute walk to the arena, or you can transfer to Muni for the last leg. ### Transit options | Option | Price | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | Muni T-Third Light Rail | $0 | A Chase Center event ticket is valid as Muni fare all day, except on cable cars. T-Third and event shuttles stop at UCSF/Chase Center. | | Chase Center Ferry (from Oakland/Alameda) | $5.10 | Game-day ferry service docks right at the arena's waterfront plaza | | Rideshare (from SFO) | $35 | Uber/Lyft, ~25 min from SFO without traffic | ## Tailgating Chase Center publishes no tailgating policy and parks its guests in two garages, so a Warriors pregame is Mission Bay rather than a lot. The transport is the standout: showing an event ticket at a Muni turnstile rides free all day, and ferries run for every Warriors game, dropping at the Mission Bay Interim Ferry Landing at Pier 48½. Doors open 90 to 120 minutes before tip-off. The bag rule is strict and has a paid escape hatch — backpacks of any size are refused along with anything over 14 by 6 by 14 inches, but any bag can be checked for $10 at the Bike Valet on the corner of 16th Street and Terry Francois Boulevard. ### Rules - Backpacks of any size are prohibited, as are all bags exceeding 14" x 6" x 14". - Any bag can be checked at bag check for $10. Bag check is at the Bike Valet on the corner of 16th Street and Terry Francois Blvd, opening 60 minutes before doors and closing 60 minutes after the event ends. - Arena doors open 90 to 120 minutes before the start of each Warriors game. - Prepaid parking passes are required for the Mercedes-Benz Garage (99 Warriors Way) and the Warriors Way Garage (150 Warriors Way), with limited passes for select events. Both generally open at 5 p.m. for weeknight events. - Patrons showing an event ticket at Muni turnstiles and boarding platforms ride free, with electronic and physical tickets serving as proof of payment throughout the day. - Ferry service runs for all Warriors games and select concerts via San Francisco Bay Ferry and Golden Gate Ferry, dropping guests at the Mission Bay Interim Ferry Landing at Pier 48½. ### Best areas | Area | Description | | --- | --- | | Mercedes-Benz Garage, 99 Warriors Way | One of the two arena garages, requiring a prepaid parking pass, and generally opening at 5 p.m. for weeknight events. Passes are limited for select events. | | Warriors Way Garage, 150 Warriors Way | The second arena garage on the same street, also prepaid-pass only and opening at 5 p.m. for weeknight events. | | Mission Bay Interim Ferry Landing, Pier 48½ | Where San Francisco Bay Ferry and Golden Gate Ferry drop Chase Center guests for every Warriors game and select concerts. | | Bag check at the Bike Valet | On the corner of 16th Street and Terry Francois Boulevard outside the arena, taking any bag for $10, open from 60 minutes before doors until 60 minutes after the event. | ## Food & Drink Chase Center has one of the best food scenes in the NBA, reflecting San Francisco's world-class dining culture. Inside the arena, you'll find everything from classic ballpark fare to local specialties like garlic fries, Mission-style burritos, and Dungeness crab sandwiches. The Thrive City plaza outside offers sit-down restaurants for pregame and postgame dining. Expect SF pricing. This is one of the pricier arena food experiences in the league. The arena names every vendor: Bakesale Betty's Oakland buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches, Big Nate's BBQ from Nate Thurmond's recipes, Hot Dog Bills out of the Olympic Club, Sadie's Delicatessen with Augie's pastrami, La Ciudad, Nuevos, Old Skool Cafe and The Greenhouse, plus a Tastemakers group of Bay Area small businesses including Pure Catch, The Sarap Shop, Stacked Sandos and Tony G's Slice House from World Champion pizza maker Tony Gemignani. ### Nearby restaurants | Name | Cuisine | Price range | Rating | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | SPARK Social SF | Food Court | $ | 4.6 | | Chez Maman East | French Restaurant | $$ | 4.6 | | Piccino | Italian Restaurant | $$ | 4.5 | | Plow | Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | Mission Rock Resort | Seafood Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | The Palm Court at RH San Francisco | Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | ATWater Tavern | Californian Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | Marlowe | American Restaurant | $$ | 4.3 | ## Game Day Timeline Chase Center sits on the San Francisco waterfront in the Mission Bay neighborhood, a purpose-built sports and entertainment complex that opened in 2019. The arena replaced Oracle Arena in Oakland and brought the Warriors back to SF. The surrounding Thrive City plaza is the pregame hub, outdoor restaurants, bars, and an open-air gathering space overlooking the bay. Arrive early to enjoy the waterfront, grab food, and take in the Bay Bridge views. NBA games run about 2.5 hours. | Time | What happens | Detail | | --- | --- | --- | | 3 hours before tip-off | Arrive at Mission Bay | Park or arrive via Muni T-Third. Check out the Warriors team store on the main concourse. | | 30 minutes before tip-off | Find your seat | The arena fills quickly for big matchups. Settle in and enjoy the video intro and light show. | | Tip-off | Game time | Warriors games are a high-energy experience. Expect deafening crowd noise, especially during runs. Total game time is about 2-2.5 hours. | | Halftime | Halftime break | Explore the concourse food options. Upper-level vendors tend to have shorter lines. | | Post-game | Post-game scene | Thrive City bars stay open after the game.
