Moda Center is in Portland's Rose Quarter district. TriMet MAX light rail Rose Quarter Transit Center is right at the arena. One of the best transit-connected arenas in the NBA. Lloyd District garages $8-15.

## Seating

Moda Center puts two ordinary rings around the floor at 100 and 300 with a club level between them, and sells its premium seats as a set of named products rather than as better rows: Courtside, the Club Level, the East Club Level, the Rose Room and the suites. Courtside here is the only ticket in the building that comes with parking, and for some sections it carries membership of Oro Fino, a speakeasy-style lounge behind the bowl.

## Getting There

Moda Center is served by all four MAX light rail colours across two stations — the Rose Quarter Transit Center on the red, blue and green lines, and Interstate/Rose Quarter on the yellow — plus six named TriMet bus lines converging on the same transit centre. Every driving route uses the Rose Quarter exit.

**Driving.** The arena is at One Center Court. From I-5 northbound, take the Rose Quarter exit, left on Broadway and left on Vancouver Avenue. From I-5 southbound, take the Rose Quarter exit 302A and go straight through two lights. From I-84 westbound, follow signs for I-5 north toward Seattle and take the Rose Quarter exit. From Highway 26 eastbound, join I-405 north or I-5 and follow to the Rose Quarter exits.

**Public transit.** Two stations serve the campus. The Rose Quarter Transit Center, south of the arena, is on the red, blue and green MAX lines; Interstate/Rose Quarter, on the western side of the campus, serves the yellow line. All MAX trips need a valid fare. TriMet bus lines 4-Fessenden, 8-Jackson Park/NE 15th, 35-Macadam Greeley, 44-Capitol Hwy/Mocks Crest, 77-Broadway/Halsey and 85-Swan Island all stop at the Rose Quarter Transit Center.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on N Center Court, east side of the arena. Portland rideshare prices are moderate. Surge post-game is typically modest.

## Tailgating

Moda Center sits in the Rose Quarter beside two MAX light rail stations, and publishes no tailgating policy. The bag rule changes with the sport: for basketball, bags over 10 by 6 by 2 inches are prohibited in line with the NBA and WNBA policy, while for non-basketball events at the same building the limit relaxes to 14 by 14 by 6. General doors for regular-season Trail Blazers games open 75 minutes before tip-off. Parking runs across five facilities, the largest being the Garden Garage attached to the arena's north end.

The beer is Oregon and Pacific Northwest: Schonely's Elysian Taproom at 101, the Hop Valley Hop Box at 110 and 19 Acres Cider at 108.

Moda Center sits in the Rose Quarter on the east bank of the Willamette River, just across the Steel Bridge from downtown Portland. The Blazers have one of the most loyal fanbases in the NBA, 'Rip City' is a cultural identity, not just a slogan. Portland has sold out nearly every home game for decades. The pregame scene centers on the Lloyd District's food options and Portland's legendary food cart pods. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early.
