### Parking tips

- Take the subway. Nine lines converge at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Ctr. It's one of the best-connected stops in NYC.
- If driving from Long Island, the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal drops you at the arena's doorstep.
- Pre-book parking via SpotHero. Walk-up rates are higher and arena lots sell out for popular events.
- Rideshare drop-off is on Atlantic Avenue. Post-game pickup can take 10-15 minutes due to traffic.

## Seating

Barclays Center holds 17,553 for basketball across two rings, and its West End was rebuilt into a set of premium rooms that are genuinely different from one another rather than tiers of the same thing. One distinction is worth the whole page: Gallagher Terrace is the ONLY space in the arena offering in-seat dining with a view of the game. Every other premium room here means leaving your seat to eat. At the other end, the Modelo Bridge on the upper concourse is open to every ticket holder.

## Getting There

Barclays Center is the best-connected venue in this data by some distance: three subway stations serve it, between them carrying nine lettered and numbered lines, and the Long Island Rail Road terminal is in the same building complex. Driving is documented too, but the arena's own page leads with the trains, and the late-night LIRR service to 2 AM tells you which arrival it expects.

**Driving.** From Manhattan over the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge, take Flatbush Avenue or Adams Street/Boerum Place and follow signs to the Flatbush Avenue or Atlantic Avenue entrance. From Queens or Long Island, take the I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west to Exit 29 and merge onto Flatbush Avenue. From Staten Island or south Brooklyn, take I-278 east to Exit 27 for Atlantic Avenue.

**Public transit.** Three subway stations serve the arena. Atlantic Terminal-Barclays Center, at Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, carries the 2, 3, 4, 5, R and Z. Lafayette Avenue station, at Fulton and South Portland, carries the C. Fulton Street station, at Fulton and Fort Greene Place, carries the G. On the Long Island Rail Road, Barclays Center/Atlantic Terminal is 20 minutes from Jamaica Station, with service running to as late as 2 AM for events.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Atlantic Avenue near the main entrance. Post-game pickup can be slow due to Flatbush Avenue congestion. Walk a block or two toward Fort Greene for faster pickup.

## Tailgating

Barclays Center faces Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and publishes no tailgating policy — it runs no lots of its own, and SpotHero is its official parking partner for the surrounding garages. Doors open 90 minutes before a Nets game. The bag rule is among the tightest in the NBA: backpacks are refused outright, and so is any bag larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches. Three entrances sit on Atlantic Avenue — the Atlantic Entrance on the northeast corner, the Crown Entrance on the northwest corner past the Event Level VIP entrance, and the American Express Card Member entrance — with drop-off zones along Atlantic Avenue and one on Flatbush outside the Main Entrance.
