## Getting There

Crypto.com Arena publishes the walk from the station rather than the route to the car park, and it is the same walk whichever line you arrive on: four Metro rail lines converge at Pico Station, one block east of the arena. Driving gets an address and a recommendation to use Waze, nothing more.

**Driving.** The arena publishes no freeway route, recommending Waze for the approach and real-time traffic. It is at 1111 S. Figueroa Street adjacent to L.A. LIVE, and each lot has its own address: Lot 1 and Southwest VIP at 900 Chick Hearn Ct, Lot W the West Garage on Chick Hearn Ct and Georgia St, Lot E the East Garage at 888 W. Olympic Blvd, Lot C at 1145 L.A. LIVE Way, Lot 4 at 944 Georgia St and Lot 12 at 832 Francisco St.

**Public transit.** The A, C, D and E Lines all converge at Pico Station, which is the stop for the arena. From the South Bay or LAX, take the C Line toward Norwalk and change at Willowbrook/Rosa Parks to the A Line toward Azusa. From North Hollywood or Hollywood, take the B Line to 7th St/Metro Center and transfer to the A or E Line. Metro bus lines 28, 30, 81, 460 and the J Line stop near L.A. LIVE, and DASH Route F has several stops on Figueroa Street alongside it. Metrolink and Amtrak both reach Union Station, where Metro Rail connects.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off and pickup is on Chick Hearn Court, east of the arena. Expect 5-10 minute surge wait post-game. Walk a block or two away from the arena for faster pickup and lower surge pricing.

**Walking.** From Pico Station, walk one block west on Pico Blvd, turn right on Figueroa, and L.A. LIVE is two blocks north on the left.

## Tailgating

Tailgating is prohibited across every L.A. LIVE and Crypto.com Arena parking lot, so a Lakers pregame happens inside L.A. LIVE rather than beside a car. The rule that actually shapes the trip is the bag policy, which is among the strictest anywhere: backpacks, purses, totes, fanny packs, camera bags and even clear bags are all refused, leaving clutches and wallets under 5 by 9 by 1 inches as the only thing that passes. Medical and parental bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 are admitted but must go through X-ray. Anything larger has to go into a Binbox locker beside the Kobe Bryant Entrance, next to the LA Kings Monument, rented through the Binbox app.
