### Parking tips

- TRAX Green Line stops right at the arena, $2.50 each way, zero walking.
- The Gateway Mall garage at $10 is the best value for proximity to the arena.

- If driving from I-15, take the 600 South exit and head north on 300 West.


## Seating

Delta Center has six seating levels and a genuinely unusual problem to solve: it hosts both the Jazz and an NHL team, and the rink endline sits nearly 12 feet lower than the court endline. The renovation installed a seating system that moves to absorb that difference, keeping Jazz seats close to the floor while giving full views for hockey. Capacity therefore changes with the sport — nearly 19,000 for basketball, about 17,000 for hockey. Seven clubs serve the building, and their inclusions are not uniform.

## Getting There

The Delta Center's transit answer is a single sentence and it is the only one it needs: TRAX runs to every arena event and the stop is called Arena Station, directly across South Temple Street. Driving is the leg the arena does not document at all — it lists nearby lots and leaves the route to a mapping app.

**Driving.** The arena is at 301 South Temple. It publishes no driving route — no interstate, exit or approach appears on its maps or parking pages, which cover nearby lots instead: Park Place, the Gateway Mall and City Creek Mall among them.

**Public transit.** UTA TRAX runs to and from all arena events. Exit at Arena Station, on South Temple Street directly across from the Delta Center.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on South Temple, north side of the arena. SLC rideshare prices are very affordable. Post-game surge is minimal.

**Walking.** Arena Station sits on South Temple Street directly across from the arena, so the walk from the platform is the width of one street.

## Tailgating

Delta Center has no surface lot and publishes no tailgating policy, so a Jazz pregame is downtown Salt Lake City rather than a parking space — and UTA TRAX makes that easy, running free as long as you enter and exit inside the Free Fare Downtown Zone. The thing to sort before leaving is the bag. Bags including purses are refused outright; clutches are allowed only up to 4 by 6 by 2 inches, and diaper or medical bags up to 14 by 14 by 6. If you are carrying either of the permitted larger bags, you have to enter at Door 5 on the northeast corner, because that is the only door with an X-ray machine.

## Food & Drink

Delta Center offers Utah-inspired arena fare at very affordable prices. The fry sauce burger (Utah's signature condiment), Navajo tacos, and local craft beer are the highlights. SLC's food scene has grown dramatically, and the arena's concessions reflect that. Outside, the Gateway mall and Main Street have solid restaurant options. The arena publishes concession maps rather than menus, and the Utah roster on them is the draw: Cupbop's Korean BBQ in a cup, J. Dawgs, Swig for dirty soda, Costa Vida, Iceberg Drive Inn, Cubby's, Salt City Smokehouse, Ikoma Sushi, Santorinis, Honest Acai and San Diablo artisan churros on the Main Concourse, with Proper Burger Co, Little Caesars, the Craft Shop and Casamigos Corner up on the Terrace. ## Game Day Timeline

Delta Center sits on the west side of downtown Salt Lake City, near the Gateway outdoor shopping center and within view of the Wasatch Mountains. The Jazz have a passionate, loyal fanbase that fills the arena consistently. SLC's food and bar scene has grown substantially, and the pregame experience centers on the Gateway restaurants and Main Street bars. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early. Note: Utah's alcohol laws are unique, beer at the arena is 5% ABV (full strength) but some bars have specific rules.
