MATA trolley on Main Street. Walk to Beale Street for pregame blues, BBQ, and bars. Downtown garages $8-15. | Lot | Price | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | FedExForum Lots | $20 | 0.1-0.3 miles | Official lots at FedExForum in downtown Memphis on Beale Street. | | Downtown Memphis Garages | $10 | 0.2-0.4 miles | Multiple garages in downtown Memphis. Short walk to Beale Street and the arena. | ### Getting here without a car Not parking. These are transit fares, walks and drop-off points. | Option | Cost | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | MATA Trolley / Bus | $1 | 0.1 miles from stop | MATA trolley runs along Main Street through downtown Memphis, stopping near FedExForum. $1 fare. | ### Parking tips - Memphis parking is dirt cheap by NBA standards, $10-20 anywhere near the arena. - Free street parking is available if you arrive early and don't mind a short walk. - Park near Beale Street Landing and walk up Beale Street. It's the best pregame experience. - The arena garage is convenient but slow to exit. Surface lots clear faster. - Downtown Memphis is very walkable. If your hotel is downtown, skip the car entirely. ## Seating FedExForum names its levels Plaza, Terrace, Pinnacle and Courtside Suite, and puts its club products on the Pinnacle: Club Boxes in the Prime Global Group Club and Theater Boxes of four to six seats in the Konica Minolta Club. The floor tier is built around the locker-room corridor — the all-inclusive VIP Floor Lounge is directly down the hall from it, Sissy's Floor Seat Lounge looks onto the players coming out, and the HHM Courtside Club sits by the Grizzlies tunnel. One detail worth knowing: the floor lounge's complimentary food and drink run through the third quarter, not the whole game. | Section | Price range | View | Pros | Cons | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Courtside / Floor Seats | $380 - $1,400+ | | Access to the all-inclusive VIP Floor Lounge, directly down the hall from the Grizzlies locker room; Complimentary food, drinks, beer and wine included; The closest seats in the arena | The inclusive food and drink stop at the end of the THIRD QUARTER, not the final buzzer; Floor level flattens the spacing that decides a possession | | HHM Courtside Club | $450 - $1,600+ | An exclusive club by the Grizzlies tunnel, at court level. | Positioned at the tunnel, so the team passes you coming out; The most exclusive of the floor-level spaces | Court level, so the far side of the floor is hard to read | | Sissy's Floor Seat Lounge | $400 - $1,300+ | A floor-level lounge positioned to watch the Grizzlies run onto the court from the locker room. | You see the team come out of the locker room, which no seat elsewhere offers; Floor-level access with a lounge attached | A lounge as much as a seat; Priced as a premium floor product | | Club Box (Prime Global Group Club, Pinnacle Level) | $180 - $500+ | Club boxes on the Pinnacle Level, with spacious seating and a club behind. | All-inclusive food and beverage for all Grizzlies home games; Spacious seating rather than a row in the bowl | Pinnacle Level height, so the floor is well below; Sold as a season product | | Theater Box (Konica Minolta Club, Pinnacle Level) | $150 - $420+ | Boxes of four to six seats on the Pinnacle Level. | Four to six seats, so the box genuinely belongs to your party; Modern fit-out with premium amenities | Fixed party sizes; Pinnacle Level height | | Club Level | $55 - $180 | The Pinnacle Level club seating, raised over the lower bowl with the whole court in frame. | Club seats with the Toyota Lounge and the Pinnacle Level's spaces in reach; Elevated enough to read the spacing of a possession | An ordinary club seat does not open the Club Box or Theater Box products; A deck removed from the lower bowl | | Lower Bowl Sideline | $90 - $250 | The Plaza Level along the sidelines, looking straight across the court. | The best ordinary sightline in the arena; Close to the benches and the noise | The front rows lose the near baseline | | Upper Baseline (Terrace) | $18 - $70 | The Terrace Level behind the baskets, with the whole floor below. | The Terrace has its own food, drink and merchandise, so no trip downstairs | Behind the basket, so the near end is foreshortened; Reached by designated escalators rather than directly | | Upper Level (Terrace) | $10 - $40 | The Terrace Level, the top of the arena, looking down over the whole floor. | One of the cheapest tickets in the NBA; Designated escalators and a short walk to the seats once you are up | As far from the floor as the building goes | Official seat map: https://www.fedexforum.com/arena-info/seating-charts ## Getting There FedExForum publishes the most detailed driving guidance of any venue in this data — six approaches, each one named street by street from the interstate to the parking gate. Its transit guidance is the opposite: it tells you trolleys and an express shuttle run within a few blocks, and names not one of them. **Driving.** The arena is at 191 Beale Street, reached from exits off I-40, I-55 and Midtown I-240 as well as Poplar Avenue. From the north on I-55, exit east on E.H. Crump Boulevard then north on Third Street. From the south on I-40, exit south on Danny Thomas then west on Linden Avenue. From Midtown on I-240, exit right to Lamar, left on Lamar, right on Somerville and follow the curve to Linden Avenue. From I-240 via Sam Cooper, exit left on Sam Cooper Boulevard, west to East Parkway, left on East Parkway, right on Poplar to Second Street, then left on Second. From Arkansas over the I-40 bridge, exit right on Riverside Drive or Front Street and go south to Union Avenue or Beale Street; over the I-55 bridge, exit to Riverside Drive north then right on Beale Street or Union Avenue. **Public transit.** The arena says an affordable roundtrip express shuttle bus and three separate trolley lines run within a few blocks, and it names none of them and publishes no stop. Plan that leg on the operator's own map. **Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off on B.B. King Blvd near the arena. Pickup zones on Beale Street post-game. Surge pricing is minimal for most games. ### Transit options | Option | Price | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | Memphis Area Transit (MATA Bus) | $1 | Local bus routes serve downtown. The Main Street Trolley (seasonal) runs near the arena. | | Rideshare (from Memphis Airport) | $20 | Uber/Lyft, ~20 min from Memphis International Airport | | Rideshare (from Midtown) | $10 | Uber/Lyft, ~10 min from Midtown Memphis | ## Tailgating FedExForum runs a clear bag policy, which makes it unusual among arenas — one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag per person, no larger than 6 by 8 by 2 inches, with no all-over print and no metal or chain strap, plus one quart-size clear freezer bag and a wallet up to 5 by 3.5 inches. Medically necessary bags and diaper bags are the exceptions, and those enter through the Grand Lobby at marked doors. The attached Gossett Motors garage holds 1,500 spaces over five levels with both entrances on Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue. Doors open 90 minutes before a Grizzlies game, an hour for other events. ### Rules - FedExForum operates a clear bag policy. Only one clear bag per person is allowed inside. - Clear bags must be plastic, vinyl or PVC, no larger than 6" x 8" x 2", with no all-over print. A strap is permitted but not a metal or chain strap. - One quart-size or smaller clear plastic storage or freezer bag is also permitted, along with a wallet no larger than 5" x 3.5". - Exceptions may be made for medically necessary bags and diaper bags, with the child present. Patrons with medically necessary bags must enter through the Grand Lobby at marked doors. - The Gossett Motors Parking Garage is attached to the arena, with 1,500 spaces across five levels and two entrances on Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue between B.B. King Boulevard and Fourth Street. - Guest, limo, taxi and express shuttle bus drop-off is at the east end of the arena on Fourth Street between Beale and Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue. - For Memphis Grizzlies games doors open 90 minutes prior to tip-off. For other events doors typically open one hour before show time. - The arena publishes no tailgating policy. ### Best areas | Area | Description | | --- | --- | | Gossett Motors Parking Garage | Attached to the arena, five levels and 1,500 spaces, with both entrances on Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue between B.B. King Boulevard and Fourth Street. | | The Fourth Street drop-off | Guest, limo, taxi and express shuttle bus drop-off is at the east end of the arena on Fourth Street, between Beale and Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue. | | The Grand Lobby doors | Where guests carrying a medically necessary bag must enter, at marked doors, rather than at whichever gate is nearest. | | Beale Street | The arena sits at the foot of Beale Street, whose bars and music rooms are the Memphis pregame — the arena itself publishes no tailgating policy. | ## Food & Drink Memphis is a top-5 food city in America for BBQ, hot chicken and soul food, and FedExForum brings the city's names inside rather than imitating them. Rendezvous runs stands at sections 106, 116 and 216 with BBQ nachos, BBQ sandwiches and cheese and sausage plates; Rock N' Dough sells BBQ pizza by the slice alongside cheese and pepperoni; TacoNganas has its own taco stand; Wiseacre Brewery pours its draft and cans at two bars; and Zio Matto, Memphis' own gelato maker, is by section 103. Catfish and corn dogs are on the Classics menu. The arena publishes stands and items but no prices. Outside, Beale Street and downtown offer world-class BBQ and soul food at remarkably low prices. ### Nearby restaurants | Name | Cuisine | Price range | Rating | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar | Fine Dining Restaurant | $$$ | 4.8 | | Esco Memphis Restaurant & Tapas | American Restaurant | $$ | 4.7 | | B.B. You literally walk from the arena onto the most famous blues street in the world. The proximity to Beale Street makes Grizzlies games one of the best pregame experiences in the NBA. Memphis is a small-market city with a fanatical fan base, the 'Grit and Grind' identity runs deep. The food (BBQ, hot chicken, soul food) is world-class and incredibly affordable. NBA games run about 2.5 hours. | Time | What happens | Detail | | --- | --- | --- | | 3 hours before tip-off | Arrive on Beale Street | Park downtown and head to Beale Street.
