Official lots $25-35, West Loop/Greektown garages $10-20. CTA bus #20 is closest; Blue Line is a 10-minute walk. West Loop is one of Chicago's best dining neighborhoods for pregame. | Lot | Price | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | United Center Lots | $24 | 0.1-0.3 miles | Official lots at United Center. Advance purchase through the UC app or Ticketmaster. | | West Loop / Greektown Garages | $15 | 0.3-0.5 miles | Garages in the nearby West Loop and Greektown neighborhoods. Walk to United Center. | ### Getting here without a car Not parking. These are transit fares, walks and drop-off points. | Option | Cost | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | CTA Bus / Blue Line | $3 | 0.3 miles from station | CTA #20 Madison bus stops near the arena. Blue Line to Illinois Medical District station is a 10-minute walk. | ### Parking tips - Surface parking here is easy, one of the few NBA arenas where driving is stress-free. - The CTA #20 Madison bus is the best transit option, running from the Loop directly to the arena. - Post-game, the lots clear in 15-20 minutes. Surface lots exit faster than garages. - Rideshare pickup is on Madison Street. Expect a 10-minute wait post-game. - If eating in the West Loop pregame, walk to the arena. It's only 15 minutes through a safe, lit area. ## Seating The United Center is three rings — 100, 200 and 300 — and the whole club product lives on the 200. Over 3,000 Lexus Club seats sit there, shared with the Blackhawks, and a 200-Level club ticket is the only thing that opens the Lexus Club Level. Above it the Club Suite Level carries the BMO Club at the west end and the Michelob Ultra Theater Boxes on the east. The 300 Level is one of the largest upper decks in the NBA, which is why the cheapest Bulls tickets stay cheap. | Section | Price range | View | Pros | Cons | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Courtside / Floor Seats | $700 - $2,500+ | | As close to the floor as the building allows; Level with the coaching and the huddles | The most expensive ticket at the United Center; Floor level costs you the shape of the offence | | Lower Bowl Sideline (100-Level) | $160 - $400 | | The best ordinary sightline in the arena; Close to the benches and the noise | The dearest non-floor ticket; No club access — that is a 200-Level product | | Lexus Club (200 Level) | $110 - $300 | The middle ring, raised over the lower bowl with the full court in frame. | Over 3,000 club seats, so this is the building's main premium tier rather than a boutique one; Club members may use every concession stand on the 100, 200 AND 300 concourses; High enough to read the spacing that decides a possession | Only a 200-Level club ticket opens the Lexus Club Level; A deck removed from the lower bowl's atmosphere | | BMO Club | $180 - $500+ | The west end of the Club Suite Level, looking down the length of the floor. | A suite experience for a fraction of a suite's price; Covers every Bulls and Blackhawks preseason and regular season home game | Behind the basket rather than along the side; A season product across both tenants, not a single-game seat | | Michelob Ultra Club Theater Box | $350 - $1,000+ | Four-person boxes on the east side of the Club Suite Level, above the floor. | A reserved table in an all-inclusive lounge; Your own four seats rather than a row in the crowd | Fixed at four people; Set well above the floor | | Upper Sideline (300-Level) | $40 - $130 | The top ring along the sides, looking down across the whole court. | The clearest view of how a possession is organised | One of the largest upper decks in the NBA, so 'upper' here really is far; Steep | | Upper Level (300-Level) | $25 - $80 | | The cheapest way into a Bulls game; Height enough to see the whole floor | The furthest seats from the court in a large upper deck | Official seat map: https://www.nba.com/bulls/tickets/seating ## Getting There The United Center is within a few blocks of three CTA rail stops on four different lines, and the arena counts the blocks for you from each. The detail worth planning around is the way home: the CTA runs a post-event express bus, the #19 United Center Express, straight to Union Station, downtown and Michigan Avenue. **Driving.** The arena is at 1901 W. Madison Street. From the north, take I-90 east to the Madison Street exit and turn right onto Madison — the building is on your left. From the south, I-55 north to the Damen exit, then left and north for about seven minutes, with the building on your right. From the east, take Madison Street west from the Loop. From the west, I-290 east to exit 28A for Damen Avenue, north on Damen to Madison Street, then right — the building is on your right. Lots open two and a half hours before the event, with no in-and-out privileges. **Public transit.** Three CTA rail stops serve the arena on four lines. The Damen stop on the Green Line is two blocks north and one block west of it; the Ashland/Lake stop on the Green and Pink Lines is two blocks north and three blocks east; and the Illinois Medical District stop on the Blue Line is a few blocks south. Bus routes #9 Ashland, #20 Madison, #50 Damen and #126 Jackson stop in front of or within a few blocks of the arena. After events the CTA runs the #19 United Center Express to Union Station, downtown and Michigan Avenue. Tap-to-pay with a credit card, Google Wallet or Apple Pay works on all CTA trains and buses. **Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Madison Street near the main entrance. Post-game pickup takes 10-15 minutes. Walk east toward Ogden Avenue for a faster pickup spot. **Walking.** From the Damen Green Line stop it is two blocks south and one block east; from Ashland/Lake it is two blocks south and three blocks west. ### Transit options | Option | Price | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | CTA #20 Madison Bus | $2.25 | Bus runs along Madison Street from the Loop directly to the United Center | | CTA Blue Line to Illinois Medical District | $2.50 | Walk 15 minutes from Illinois Medical District station to the arena | | Rideshare (from the Loop) | $15 | Uber/Lyft, ~12 min from the Loop / Magnificent Mile | ## Tailgating The United Center sits at 1901 W. Madison Street, and the single most important thing to know before a Bulls game has nothing to do with the lots: the arena runs a total bag ban. Not a size limit — purses, small clutches and even handheld wallets are all refused, with exceptions only for medically-required bags and for diaper bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 when an infant is present. No tailgating policy is published for the parking lots, and Lots C and K are reserved for club seat members. Those members can be inside two hours before tip-off through Gate 7, when the Stadium Club on the Lexus Club Level opens. ### Rules - The United Center is at 1901 W. Madison Street, Chicago, IL 60612. From I-90, take I-90 East to the Madison Street exit and turn right onto Madison Street. - Parking for club seat members is in Lots C and K, and premium seating includes reserved parking. - The Stadium Club on the Lexus Club Level opens two hours prior to the start of each Blackhawks or Bulls game. - Club seat members arriving before the gates open can access the Stadium Club through Gate 7. - No bags are allowed, including purses, small clutches and handheld wallets. Limited exceptions apply for medically-required bags and for diaper bags no larger than 14x14x6 when an infant is present. - Under the Chicago Clean Indoor Act of 2005, smoking of any kind is prohibited anywhere in the United Center. - The arena publishes no tailgating policy for its parking lots. ### Best areas | Area | Description | | --- | --- | | 1901 W. Madison Street | The arena's address and the road everything routes off: from I-90 the approach is east to the Madison Street exit, then right onto Madison. | | Lots C and K | The parking lots serving club seat members, named on the arena's own suite and parking maps. Premium seating includes reserved parking as part of the package. | | Gate 7 and the Stadium Club | The Stadium Club on the Lexus Club Level opens two hours before every Bulls or Blackhawks game, and club seat members arriving before the general gates open get in through Gate 7. | ## Food & Drink The United Center leans hard into Chicago's legendary food culture. You'll find Chicago-style hot dogs (never ketchup), Italian beef sandwiches, deep dish pizza, and Polish sausage alongside standard arena fare. Goose Island and other local craft beers are well-represented. The nearby West Loop, Chicago's premier dining neighborhood, offers world-class pregame options. Pricing is moderate, cheaper than NYC or LA but reflecting a major market. The arena names its stands: Chicago Dish at 104, 222, 305 and 322 for the Chicago-style dog and Maxwell Street Polish, Giordano's at 120 for deep dish, thin crust and a 6-inch Italian beef, Lillie's Q barbecue at 119, 206 and 330, Honey Butter Fried Chicken at 115, Mrs. Levy's Deli at 229, This Little Goat Taqueria at 114 and 230, Gibson's filet mignon sliders at 103, and the Goose Island Pub at 109. ### Nearby restaurants | Name | Cuisine | Price range | Rating | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Goose Island Taproom | Brewery | $$ | 4.8 | | Maxwells Trading | Restaurant | $$ | 4.7 | | Ranalli's Pizza Bar - West Loop, Chicago | Pizza Restaurant | $$ | 4.7 | | Uncle Mike's Place | Filipino Restaurant | $ | 4.7 | | Bottom Lounge | Live Music Venue | $$ | 4.6 | | Cobra Lounge | Pizza Restaurant | $$ | 4.5 | | The Loyalist | American Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | City Winery Chicago | Live Music Venue | $$$ | 4.3 | ## Game Day Timeline The United Center sits on the Near West Side of Chicago, about 2 miles west of the Loop. It's the house that Jordan built, the iconic Michael Jordan statue stands outside the main entrance. The arena is surrounded by surface parking lots, giving it a more suburban feel than downtown Chicago arenas. The pregame scene revolves around nearby bars, the West Loop restaurant scene, and the parking lot tailgate culture. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early. The atmosphere for Bulls games carries the weight of the franchise's legendary history. | Time | What happens | Detail | | --- | --- | --- | | 3 hours before tip-off | Arrive at the United Center | Drive in and park in the arena lots, or take the CTA. Stop for a photo with the Michael Jordan statue on the east side. | | 2 hours before tip-off | Pregame scene | Hit the bars on Madison Street or explore the nearby West Loop restaurants. Some fans tailgate in the parking lots. | | 90 minutes before tip-off | Doors open | Enter the United Center and watch warm-ups.
