Muni N-Judah, T-Third, or Caltrain to 4th & King. Ferry service from East Bay on game days. McCovey Cove for kayak viewing. | Lot | Price | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Oracle Park Lots | $40 | 0.1-0.3 miles | Official lots at Oracle Park on the San Francisco waterfront. | | SoMa / South Beach Garages | $25 | 0.3-0.5 miles | Garages in SoMa and South Beach neighborhoods. | ### Getting here without a car Not parking. These are transit fares, walks and drop-off points. | Option | Cost | Distance | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Muni / Caltrain | $3 | 0.2 miles from station | Muni N-Judah, T-Third, or Caltrain to 4th & King station, a short walk to Oracle Park. | ### Parking tips - Take transit, Muni, Caltrain, or the Bay Ferry. San Francisco parking is expensive and stressful. - The SF Bay Ferry from Oakland/Alameda docks right at the ballpark, the most scenic arrival in MLB. - If driving, pre-book Lot A online. It's the only lot within a block of the gates. - Mission Bay garages are the best value, 20-minute waterfront walk to the ballpark. - Post-game traffic on 3rd Street and the Embarcadero is slow. Walk or take Muni. ## Seating Oracle Park's seating is organised by what your ticket lets you into rather than by height alone. The Club Level is gated — it admits Club Level, Blue Shield Field Club, the Loft at McCovey Cove, Audi Dugout Club, Legends Club and several suite products, and nobody else. The Suite Level above it admits the Cloud Club and the Gotham Club. The View Level at the top is open to every ticket holder in the park. Right field is the reason people come: the arcade above the waterfront wall, Levi's Landing, and McCovey Cove beyond it. | Section | Price range | View | Pros | Cons | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Gotham Club / Dugout Box | $200 - $500+ | The Gotham Club sits behind the out-of-town scoreboard in right field with close views of both the field and McCovey Cove; the dugout boxes are level with the players at the front of the bowl. | A private social club rather than a concourse, tucked into the right-field wall; Views of the field and the Cove from the same room | The most expensive way into the park; The Gotham Club is a membership product, not a seat you simply buy | | Field Club | $120 - $350 | Premium seats low behind the plate and down the lines, with gated club access behind them. | Club Level access, which also covers the Loft at McCovey Cove and the other gated spaces; As close to the plate as an ordinary ticket gets here | The backstop screen sits in the sightline behind the plate | | Lower Box | $60 - $200 | The lower bowl around the infield and down both lines, level with the field. | Lower-bowl proximity without club pricing; Straight onto the main concourse and the ballpark's food | No club access — the gated spaces are not open to this ticket; Corner seats face across the diamond rather than into it | | Club Level (200-Level) | $40 - $120 | The gated club ring, raised over the lower bowl with the whole field and the Bay beyond it. | Access to the Club Level's own concourse and its premium spaces; A full-field view for well under Field Club money | A deck removed from the lower bowl; The club access is much of what the price buys | | Levi's Landing (Right Field Arcade) | $45 - $140 | The arcade above the right-field wall, looking back at the infield with McCovey Cove and the Bay directly behind you. | Waterfront seats unique to Oracle Park — no other ballpark has this; The best place in the park to watch a ball go into the Cove | Right field, so home plate is a long way off; Fully exposed to the wind coming off the Bay, which at Oracle Park is a real consideration | | View Reserved (300-Level) | $15 - $45 | The top level, open to every ticket holder, looking down over the whole park, the Cove and the Bay Bridge. | The cheapest seats in the ballpark — the Giants sell $16 tickets to selected games here; The widest view of the park and the water | The most exposed level to the wind and evening cold; A long way above the field | | Bleachers (Outfield) | $20 - $60 | Left and centre field beyond the wall, looking back in at the infield. | Included in the Giants' $16 selected-game pricing alongside the View Reserve; Close to the outfield action and the Coca-Cola slide beyond it | Bench-style seating with no cover; The infield is distant and side-on | Official seat map: https://www.mlb.com/giants/ballpark/seat-map ## Getting There Oracle Park is the best-served venue in this data by public transport and the Giants organise the page the right way round — by where you are coming from rather than by mode. Muni, Caltrain, BART and a ferry that docks at the ballpark itself all reach it, most running past midnight, and Caltrain adds an extra local train after evening games. Driving is the leg the club actively discourages: every Giants-controlled space requires a pre-booked reservation, ADA placard holders included. **Driving.** The Giants publish no driving route. What they publish instead is a requirement: every fan parking in a Giants-controlled lot or garage must hold a pre-purchased SpotHero reservation, including those with a valid ADA placard. Dozens of independent lots and garages surround the ballpark. Informal tailgating is allowed in Lot A only, not at Pier 48 or 153 Townsend, and oversized vehicles need a reservation through Group Ticketing at roughly twice the passenger-car rate. **Public transit.** From San Francisco, Muni's N Judah and the gameday shuttles stop at 2nd & King Station adjacent to the ballpark, and the T Third/Central Subway stops at 4th & King Station one block away; Muni connects to BART at Embarcadero and Powell, and all train lines run until midnight every day. From the Peninsula and South Bay, Caltrain's San Francisco Station at 4th and King is a short walk, with trains every 5 to 20 minutes at weekday peaks and every 30 minutes otherwise, plus an extra local train after weekend and weekday evening games. BART serves the Peninsula at Daly City, Colma, South San Francisco, San Bruno and Millbrae, and the East Bay, running until after midnight. SF Bay Ferry runs direct between Oracle Park and the Alameda, Oakland and Vallejo terminals for night games. **Rideshare.** Drop-off on King Street or 3rd Street near the main entrance. Post-game pickup is congested. Walk to 2nd Street or the Embarcadero for faster service. 15-20 minutes from the Mission, Marina, or Castro. **Walking.** 2nd & King Station is adjacent to the ballpark and 4th & King Station is one block away, so both rail approaches put you at the gates. ### Transit options | Option | Price | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | Muni T-Third Street | $2.85 | Light rail stops at 2nd & King and 4th & King near Oracle Park, connects through SoMa, Mission Bay, and Bayview | | Caltrain to 4th & King (from Millbrae, 2 zones) | $6.25 | Commuter rail from the Peninsula and South Bay to the 4th & King station, a 10-minute walk to the ballpark | | SF Bay Ferry from Oakland/Alameda | $5.10 | Ferry service from Oakland, Alameda, and Vallejo to the Oracle Park ferry landing, the most scenic way to arrive | ## Before the Game Oracle Park permits informal tailgating in Lots A and C, in the area immediately around your own vehicle and without spilling into another space or a drive aisle. It is specifically not permitted at Pier 48, Pier 30/32 or One Bryant. Every Giants-controlled lot and garage requires a pre-purchased SpotHero reservation — including fans with a valid ADA placard, which is unusual and worth knowing before you drive down. Gates open 90 minutes before a weekday game and two hours at weekends. Backpacks are refused, clear ones included, though any other bag under 16 by 16 by 8 inches is fine, and paid storage sits at the Marina Gate behind centre field. ### Rules - Informal tailgating is allowed in Lots A and C, within the area immediately around one's vehicle, and must not interfere with other parking spaces or drive aisles. - Tailgating is not permitted at Pier 48, Pier 30/32 or One Bryant. - All fans parking in Giants-controlled lots and garages must have a pre-purchased SpotHero reservation, including fans with valid ADA placards. - All four gates — Willie Mays, Lefty O'Doul, 2nd & King and Marina — open 90 minutes before Monday to Friday games and two hours before Saturday and Sunday games, varying for promotional giveaways and pregame ceremonies. - Backpacks, including clear backpacks, are not permitted inside Oracle Park. Other bags up to 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted and do not need to be clear. - On-site bag storage is available to rent at the Marina Gate behind centre field, open from gates opening until one hour after the game ends. ### Best areas | Area | Description | | --- | --- | | Lots A and C | The two lots where informal tailgating is allowed, in the area immediately around your vehicle. It must not interfere with other parking spaces or the drive aisles. | | Pier 48, Pier 30/32 and One Bryant | Parking areas where tailgating is specifically not permitted, so a space at any of them is parking only. | | The four gates — Willie Mays, Lefty O'Doul, 2nd & King, Marina | All four open 90 minutes before a Monday to Friday game and two hours before Saturday and Sunday games, though promotional giveaways and pregame ceremonies can move that. | | Bag storage at the Marina Gate | Behind centre field, open from when gates open until an hour after the game ends — the place for a backpack, which the ballpark will not admit even if it is clear. | ## Food & Drink Oracle Park has elevated ballpark food to match the Bay Area's culinary reputation. The Gilroy garlic fries are legendary, the pungent garlic aroma fills entire sections. Dungeness crab sandwiches, Cha Cha Bowls, and local sourdough bread reflect San Francisco's food culture. The craft taps pour Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas and Firestone Walker, the wine list runs Napa and Sonoma (Far Niente, Caymus), and Takara's Mio sparkling sake made Oracle the first big-league park to pour Japanese sake. Prices are premium (it's San Francisco), but the quality is outstanding. ### Nearby restaurants | Name | Cuisine | Price range | Rating | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse | Brazilian Restaurant | $$$ | 4.7 | | SPARK Social SF | Food Court | $ | 4.6 | | Waterbar Restaurant | Seafood Restaurant | $$$ | 4.5 | | The Grove Restaurant & Bar | American Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | Mission Rock Resort | Seafood Restaurant | $$ | 4.4 | | Tropisueno | Mexican Restaurant | $$ | 4.3 | | Marlowe | American Restaurant | $$ | 4.3 | | sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Wraps, and Bowls | Salad Shop | $$ | 4.2 | ## Game Day Timeline Oracle Park sits on the San Francisco Bay waterfront in the South Beach/China Basin neighborhood, with views of the Bay Bridge, the water, and the city skyline. It's one of the most beautifully situated ballparks in baseball. McCovey Cove beyond right field is where kayakers and boaters wait for splash-hit home runs. The Giants have a passionate, knowledgeable fan base and a ballpark that rewards exploration, the concourse is open 360 degrees with Bay views. Garlic fries are the iconic food item, and Anchor Steam is the local beer. Be warned: San Francisco weather is cold and windy, even in summer. Games run about 3 hours. | Time | What happens | Detail | | --- | --- | --- | | 3 hours before first pitch | Arrive in the neighborhood | Walk the Embarcadero waterfront from downtown or take the ferry from Oakland.
