### Parking tips

- Take GO Transit or the TTC. Union Station is connected to Rogers Centre via the SkyWalk, no need to go outside.
- If driving, pre-book via the Blue Jays website or a parking app. Walk-up rates near the waterfront are $30-50.
- The Gardiner Expressway backs up severely on game days. Budget extra time if driving from the suburbs.
- Rideshare drop-off is on Bremner Boulevard. Post-game pickup is slow. Walk a few blocks east for faster service.
- Green P city lots offer the best value. Look for lots on Rees Street or south of Front Street.


## Seating

Rogers Centre runs on three levels — 100, 200 and 500, with no 300 or 400 for baseball — and the multi-year renovation that took capacity from 49,286 to 39,150 spent the difference on the outfield. What it built is the Outfield District: five neighbourhoods, Corona Rooftop Patio on the 500 Level in right field, TD Park Social on the 500 Level in left, the WestJet Flight Deck on the 200 Level in centre, plus The Catch Bar and The Stop, with Schneider's Porch, Rogers Landing, the bleachers, both field balconies and a run of drink rails around them. The thing to understand before buying is that the Outfield District Ticket is general admission to those spaces and nothing else: holders "may not occupy ballpark seats, group spaces when reserved, or portable folding chairs", and standing is not permitted in entryways, aisles, seating sections or wheelchair areas. It buys you somewhere to be, not somewhere to sit.

## Getting There

Rogers Centre sits at Front and John Streets in downtown Toronto with four separate rail options within walking distance, and the Blue Jays document the walk from each — including the SkyWalk, an enclosed route from Union Station that comes out at the foot of the CN Tower next door. It is one of the few venues where the club tells you which side of the street to walk on.

**Driving.** The ballpark is at the corner of Front and John Streets, west of the CN Tower, and is also reachable from Lakeshore Blvd at the Spadina Avenue exit. The Blue Jays recommend a navigation app for the route itself.

**Public transit.** Two subway stations are close by: Union Station, which is also the GO Transit station, and St. Andrews. From Union, walk west along the south side of Front Street, or take the SkyWalk to the foot of the CN Tower next door. The King Street streetcar connects at St. Andrews and stops at the ends of both John Street and Peter Street. The LRT runs along Queens Quay from Union Station and stops at Spadina at the south end of the ballpark, and also at Rees Street. GO Transit trains and buses reach Union Station from across the region, and children 12 and under travel free with Kids GO Free.

**Rideshare.** Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Bremner Boulevard near the main gates. Post-game pickup is congested. Walk to Front Street or King Street for faster service. Expect 10-20 minutes from downtown hotels.

**Walking.** From Union Station, walk west along the south side of Front Street, or use the enclosed SkyWalk which comes out at the foot of the CN Tower next door to the ballpark. From the LRT at Rees Street, walk north on Rees from Queens Quay.

## Tailgating

Rogers Centre sits under a roof in the middle of downtown Toronto with no surface lots of its own, so there is no tailgating to arrange — the pregame is the blocks around the dome. On Saturday and Sunday home games the gates open two hours before first pitch, though the club notes gate times can change. The bag rule is the thing to settle before travelling: nothing over 16 by 16 by 8 inches, soft-sided diaper bags, medical bags, small purses and knapsacks are fine, hard-sided cooler bags and containers are not, and there is no bag storage anywhere at the ballpark — so an oversized bag has nowhere to go.

### Rules

- On Saturday and Sunday home games the gates to Rogers Centre open two hours prior to game time. Gate times are subject to change.
- Only bags smaller than 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted into the ballpark.
